MUnique Technology GmbH is a young company on sustainable growth. Our DeepTech company has specialised in the field of optical measurement technology with an innovative length measuring device. The system enables a wide range of applications in the field of satellite constellations, secure communication and time transfer systems. It can be used to improve earth observation, satellite internet or navigation systems, for example.

We have development tasks in the areas of laser systems, space electronics, automation, control engineering, etc. This results in a wide range of topics for a master’s thesis. We determine the exact content in consultation with the master’s student.

Possible topics for the Master thesis:

• VHDL / embedded systems and optical systems
• Extension of the existing FPGA/embedded system architecture
• Design and realisation of electronic circuits
• Embedded software development

Requirements:

• field of study electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related field
• knowledge in Python, VHDL and circuit board design
• interest in optics and laser technology
• interest in measurement technology
• English (fluent)
